Just The Facts

To begin, let's go over a few facts about water.

  • The human body is comprised of approximately 70% water

  • You must have water to survive

  • Most people need to drink about 8 cups (approximately 2 liters) of water every day

  • Most Americans don't drink enough water

  • No other liquid can replace good water

  • Much of the earth's water is contaminated

  • Most tap water is not "good" water because it contains chemicals

  • Any water filtered by RO (reverse osmosis) is "dead" water because it is devoid of minerals

  • The body cannot assimilate minerals and vitamins that have been added to food or water as effectively as it can when these are in their natural state

  • Kangen Water® has

    • the impurities filtered out, but all of the minerals that the body expects to get from water intact

    •  a very high antioxidant potential due to the presence of an abundance of dissolved molecular hydrogen as a result of electrolysis

    • a high pH; 8.5, 9.0 or 9.5

    • superior hydration capability, also due to the dissolved molecular hydrogen

Bottled Water is Unhealthy

Check out this list that includes several popular brands of bottled water.

The two colorful columns on the right represent the pH (potential of hydrogen) and the ORP (oxidation reduction potential) of the beverage.

On the pH scale, 7.0 is neutral. Anything below that is acidic, and anything above it is alkaline. The blood has a pH level between 7.35 and 7.45. A condition called acidosis occurs when the body fluids contain too much acid. Notice that some of the more popular waters such as Dasani, Aqufina and Smart Water are acidic.

The column on the far right indicates the ORP of each beverage. A positive number means that the substance causes oxidation - a negative number indicates that the substance is an antioxidant. Notice that all of the most popular bottled waters are extremely oxidative.

Wow! What a stark contrast between bottled water and fresh, Kangen Water®. Even if bottled water were cheaper than investing in a Kangen Water® machine, which it is not, as I am about to demonstrate, what price can you put on good health - feeling and looking good and young?

Arsenic and Old Lace

It is a funny movie, in a twisted sort of way. But in real life, arsenic is no laughing matter. That's the reason I found this 2020 article from The Washington Post to be rather disturbing. Here's an excerpt: "Bottled water manufactured by Whole Foods and sold in its U.S. stores contains potentially harmful levels of arsenic — at least three times that of every other brand tested and just shy of the federal cap, according to Consumer Reports."[1]

The choice is clear - Kangen Water® is the healthy choice.

Bottled Water is Expensive

Over time, you can spend a literal fortune on bottled water. Still, let's suppose that someone realized the benefits of drinking alkaline water, but when they heard the price of a Kangen Water® machine blurted out, "I can't afford that. I'll just buy bottled alkaline water from Wal-Mart."

Okay, let's look at a scenario. We'll buy Essentia by the case; on sale at Wal-Mart for $16.63 for a case of 12 1 liter bottles.

By the way, even though Essentia does have a pH of 9.26, which is close to the Kangen Water®, it's ORP is +179! While that is better than most of the other brands of bottled water, it's nowhere near being in the same class as Kangen Water® with its -745 ORP. Essentia is oxidative - Kangen Water® is a very strong antioxidant (30 times the antioxidant power of green tea).

However, we will overlook that detail for now, and do a simple price comparison.

You wouldn't mind saving $54,220 over the next 15 years, would you?

But, as I will show you in just a minute, the savings are actually much greater. Here is a breakdown of the above comparison:

  • Every member of the family needs to be drinking approximately 2 liters of water a day, thus 60 cases per year per person

  • To buy that much Essentia water for a family of four would cost around $4,000 per year

  • The initial cost of the Kangen Water® machine that we use is $3,980

  • The filter is good for around 1,500 gallons and costs $120

  • A new filter every year for 15 years would add up to $1,800

  • At the end of 15 years, you would have invested $5,780 to have all of the fresh, alkaline, hydrogen-rich, antioxidant Kangen Water® that you and your family need, or

  • $60,000 for stale bottled water that you have no idea how long has been bottled nor where it has been

Much more, actually! In fact, the Kangen Water® machine that we have in our kitchen would feel neglected if it only produced enough water for four people. It could just as easily produce water for 40 people over the next 15 years, and I expect realistically over the next 20 or 25 years or more.

Considering the potential of the quantity of the best water on earth that our machine can produce, the real value is inestimable. But, for the sake of comparison to buying bottled water, let's consider another scenario.

Suppose you wanted to supply good water for your parents or some other family members, so the total number of people came to eight.

You wouldn't mind saving $112,420 over the next 15 years, would you?

But wait! There's more! Remember, the Kangen Water® machine could just as easily produce water for 40 people or 400 people. Can you even imagine what the potential savings could be?

Now, suppose you see these numbers and say, "Wait, what? I cannot be paying $8,000 per year for bottled water, but I don't want to pay $3,980 for a Kangen Water® machine. I know - I'll just buy the cheapest bottled water I can find. At least it's got to be better than tap water."

Now the cheapest bottled water that I could find for this comparison was Great Value - 10˘ per bottle! Let's see what that looks like for eight people over 15 years.

You wouldn't mind saving $9,940 over the next 15 years, would you?

And at the same time have the benefit of the very best water on earth. And by the way, that's not even taking into account the value of the other types of water that the Kangen Water® machine produces:

  • Strong Kangen Water pH 11.5

    Cleaning fruits and vegetables
    Cleaning kitchen surfaces
    Stain removal
    Washing dishes

    Clean Water pH 7.0

    Baby food
    Medication

    Beauty Water pH 6.0

    Face wash
    Hair care
    Pet care
    Polishing

    Strong Acidic Water pH 2.5

    Cleaning
    Reducing germs
    Hygiene

The choice is clear - Kangen Water® is the economical choice.

Bottled Water is Destructive

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. You might say this one is worth 1,500 plastic bottles. That's the number of bottles of water consumed in the United States EVERY SECOND. Less than 20% of those bottles get recycled. Check out the following information from theworldcounts.com.

Here are some bottled water waste facts that you need to know, so you can make an informed decision when it comes to choosing the water you drink.

  • Most of the bottled water you buy is just glorified tap water. There are a few brands whose water really comes from springs and mountain streams, but most are just tap water that’s been purified.
  • It takes 1 PET plastic bottle 700 years to start decomposing. Bacteria, which usually helps in breaking down organic materials, don’t like petroleum based plastics. Technically, they can last forever.
  • More than 100 million plastic bottles are used worldwide every day!
  • 90% of the cost of bottled water is due to the packaging, not the water quality.
  • 3 liters of water are used to package 1 bottle of water.
  • Plastic water bottles are petroleum based. In the U.S. alone, it takes 1.5 million barrels of oil to meet the demands.
  • There’s an area in the Pacific Ocean the size of Texas - known as The Great Pacific Garbage Patch – which is composed of plastic.
  • Plastic is listed as the number one threat to our marine ecosystem.
  • The energy used to manufacture bottled water can power 190,000 homes.
  • Antimony, which causes dizziness and depression and even death can be found in PET plastic bottles.
  • Plastic bottles also contain Bisphenol A which has been linked to obesity, diabetes and cancer.[2]
